Saturday 2nd June will prove a powerful day for Blues fans everywhere. The Blues Experience will be fulfilling their residency at The Riverside from 9 to 11 then leaving immediately to go to Trippets Wine Bar and play a further two sets from 11.30. Come down and support the band on both shows and feel the Blues Power heal you.

Grey Cooper Blues Experience drummer Stevie Crewe has been asked to dep for Love Party at Peace In The Park Festival at Endcliffe Park on June 2nd. The set time is 6.15. Diehard Blues & Funk fans can have a royal banquest on this most auspicious of days. After nailing down a good 30 mins of raw roots funk with Love Party, Stevie will be off to make a possible TWO BLUES SHOWS later that evening. The sun will be shining so make sure you get yourself camped on the bank of the River Don at The Riverside Cafe Bar for 9pm, when Grey Cooper Blues Experience will launch into a devastating fresh Blues testimony. Confirmation is still awaited, but it could be that the band leave at 11pm for ANOTHER GIG nearby!! Make sure you turn up to The Riverside or march up to Stevie, Grey or Doctor Sax at Endcliffe Park and demand to know full details.

GCBE played a blazing set to a capacity crowd at the Harlequin on the Sunday of the Bank Holiday Weekend. The gig was part of the Philadelphia Blues Festival and the support from the audience was incredible! Thank you for such a great evening we really enjoyed it, you really knocked us off our feet!
Saturday 12th May was a welcome return to Trippets for GCBE a great venue and always a great crowd, an added bonus was Steve from “Exposed” magazine who came down for an interview with the band, some photos and review of the gig……..look out for the next issue!
