It's official, the band have recruited a new keyboard player. He's young, he's good looking, he's fresh, he digs the Blues - and his name is Danny West. Check it all out at the Harlequin January 3rd.

Blues Fans,
At every step of the way there is a Crossroads. Each Crossroads represents the possibility of Magic in your life. If you know how to use it and if you have the balls to choose it!
I don't know about about you.. but for this band, 2008 was about keeping going. Faith, belief, vision. Continually working in a paradigm that seemed to not actually exist.. now some people might see that as a definition of insanity. I see it as creating the future.
People, events, change - sometimes it is hard to live with 'em, but you sure can't live without 'em!
So, you just take that lil' ol' Mojo, and you take your High John The Conqueror root, 2 drops of blood, throw dem Magic Bones and ride on ... ride on, till you see those Crossroads resting on the horizon; where the Future takes over from the Past, where the Present says 'I hold you both' and where the Sky kisses the Earth.
You see, in music these days; you need to do three things:
1. Keep Going
2. Get Better
3. Create Original Material
In 2009 the fruits of Five Long Years are coming to pass.

In 2009 you can expect the album Crossroads Down & Magic Bones by February. This set represents the past 2 years and will feature all the staple live show tunes. Revamped website by March. New material filtering through the set as we slip into Spring. New show venues.

Riverside gig cancelled 27.12.08
sorry blues fans tonights gig at the Riverside has been cancelled! This is due to circumstances beyond control of the band and is contrary to the feature in the gig listings in todays Star. Hope you all had a great Christmas and we look forward to seeing yo in the New Year. Next gig 3.1.09 @ the Harlequin. 2009 will also see the eventual release of the GCBE album, finishing touches ongoing and aiming for February release.
